Using Lanterns to Depict Emotions and Build a Dream of Loving Pets
In this era brimming with infinite imagination, as a lantern designer in lantern sculptures manufacturer,I have a deep affection for cats and I am honored to present a creative lantern design series with the theme of "cats." These works not only bring me immense satisfaction but also fulfill my original intention: to bridge the gap between these adorable creatures and humans, encouraging more friends to join in the care and respect for animals.
Inspired by Mr. Louis Wain's remarkable work, "The World of Cats," where he portrayed cats as members of society with distinct personalities, dressed in human-like attire, I was greatly inspired to explore how cats can be depicted in modern society. Building on this, I decided to create a collection of unique lanterns that blend traditional beauty with contemporary elements.
This series of silk sculptures includes, but is not limited to:
Palace Style: With opulent and intricate craftsmanship, combined with the characteristics of ancient royal costumes, each "palace cat" exudes an air of nobility and elegance.
Northeastern Big Flower Ethnic Style: Utilizing vibrant, eye-catching colors and regional pattern decorations, these lanterns showcase a lively and cheerful image, maintaining warmth and intimacy.
Hanfu Style: Drawing inspiration from classic styles in ancient Chinese clothing culture, the gentle and elegant "Hanfu cat" is outlined through exquisite embroidery and smooth lines.
Through these simple yet evocative designs, I aim to convey love and hope that, through this artistic expression for lantern light festival, more people will appreciate the charm of cats, leading to a change in attitudes towards pets, so they are truly seen as indispensable members of our families.
